Kakariki LogoKakariki, which means 'green' in Maori, is the environment club on campus.

Kakariki Enviroment Club

  • loves to party. Members host regular pot-luck parties and social events.
  • promotes and engages in environmental issues both on and off campus
  • organises and participates in events and activism in order to build a more socially just and environmentally sustainable campus and planet
  • gives its members a space to meet and discuss environmental and social issues, and act on them.
  • has regular meetings and an e-mail list to help with communication.

Who can join?

Kakariki is mostly a student club, but staff and members of the community are most welcome.
