In early November Matt Morris and Helen Tulett of the Sustainability Office facilitated a workshop for the new Learning Resources Sustainability Working Group. The aim of the workshop was to develop an initial understanding of what sustainability means in a Learning Resources context, and develop some ideas for implementation in 2011. News and Announcements

The ICT Sustainability initiatives were temporarily put on hold at the end of 2009 due to the University’s organisational restructuring. However, in the new structure, the departments formerly called ICT, FM and the Library are now under one umbrella, Learning Resources. Professor Sue McKnight, PVC Learning Resources, has given the go ahead to restart the sustainability initiatives. With the combined knowledge and resource from the three areas, it will be able to facilitate wider reaching and more effective initiatives. See the Learning Resources Sustainability homepage for more.
