Getting a bikeIf you haven’t already got a bike, your local bike shop is the best place to start. Check out advice on choosing a bike, and what different bikes mean. Online auctions like TradeMe and sella, as well as the Police auctions, will get you going too. The police auctions are held every second Thursday at 12 noon, at Turners Auctions. All the bikes can be viewed the day before the auction. |

Save even more timeMap your own route through Hagley or other parks where your car can’t go. Find shops at your door by searching for things like “organic groceries” in your suburb. Get directions, walking/driving time and distance, and limit shops to being within a specified distance. |
