The UC campus waterways project aims to restore the ecology and diversity of the three waterways flowing through University of Canterbury's Ilam campus – Avon River, and Okeover and Ilam streams - for all to enjoy. This collaborative project involves University of Canterbury staff, students, and the Christchurch City Council.

Get involved
Students, staff, and departments can become involved in the campus waterways by helping to rehabilitate new areas, integrating the waterways into teaching programmes, and/or conducting relevant research.
